A sus 68 años...Paul McCartney bate record de venta en México

Due To Phenomenal Demand; Paul McCartney Adds Extra Stadium Date In Mexico

EXTRA SHOW – Foro Sol Stadium – Friday 28th May
Up and Coming Tour 2010

PM.com reported earlier this week that Paul McCartney had broken the world record for the fastest ever-selling stadium show in Mexico. When Paul’s show at the Foro Sol Stadium on Thursday 27th May went on sale, the tickets sold out in literally minutes, smashing a previous record set by Radiohead. At the time Ticketmaster in Mexico commented that the show could not have sold out faster.

Due to the overwhelming demand Paul has announced today that he will add an extra show at the 50,000 capacity stadium when his all-new ‘Up And Coming Tour’ rocks through Mexico’s capital city at the end of May. Paul’s second show will take place on Friday 28th May.

These shows will feature a typically diverse set of music from all of Paul’s unrivalled career, with songs from The Beatles, Wings and Paul’s solo work, including tracks from The Fireman’s 2008 album ‘Electric Arguments’. The shows will feature the usual high-energy performances that millions of Macca fans have been treated to over the years.

The ‘Up And Coming Tour’ kicked off to rave reviews in the US on March 28th. The show on May 27th will be Paul’s first show in Mexico since 2002 when he performed three shows at the Palacio de los Deportes. Paul’s first visit to Mexico was in 1993 on his ‘New World Tour’.
